"pillings", created by Ryota Murakami, is a Japanese fashion brand. Pillings originated from "pilling", which means small loose strands or balls of fiber that form on a piece of fabric, usually caused by we are. It expresses the brand's hope that people will cherish the knittings and continue to wear them until the become covered in lint balls. Also, just like the lint balls created by friction, our clothes are developed through constant communication with our artisans and experimental trial and error, which in turn leads to each season's design.
