This brand is created by Indian designer Bapan Dutta and French designer Lucie Bourreau. The brand name is an acronym for "made in India," with the two "I"s representing the meeting of two countries, the meeting of two designers, and the precious encounter between you and I (Mii). Designs are created in Paris, while weaving, printing, embroidery, and other processes are all done by hand in Kolkata, India. Taking advantage of the unique characteristics of these two world-renowned countries with traditional textile techniques, the brand continues to produce new creations.
