      Punktum derived from the term "punctum" used in Roland Barthes' book "Camera Lucida". The brand name replaces the "punc" with "punk" to suggest a countercultural style source. However, the purpose is not simply to create a revival of that era but to present a sustainable approach centered on remaking and to offer a new style that should arrive in the era that has passed through luxury street culture. Additionally, the brand responds ironically to the easy and thoughtless "retinal" pleasure that is rampant on social media through a variety of typography.
