Men's "Bomber" in "Root Brown Wax Dipped Cupro." Made from a Japanese cupro shell fabric treated with a wax dip and paraffin coating, it features a crisp texture and water-repellent properties. It is reversible, with the reverse side featuring a contrasting two-tone, lustrous twill fabric. The entire garment is insulated with a felt-like padding.
The silhouette combines set-in shoulders that follow the shoulder line with roomy sleeves, featuring a longer front and a hem that rises toward the back. Inspired by vintage flight jackets, it incorporates original merino wool ribbing and circular-knit cuffs.
The front features a two-way zip with wide tape and a shell fabric tab. It is equipped with snap-button front pockets and a sleeve pocket.
This garment uses a specialized process that applies a paraffin coating to lightweight cupro. This results in a material with body, durability, and water repellency. The unique, chalky appearance created by this process changes with every crease and wrinkle, ensuring that each piece has its own distinct character.
While it has a firm texture at first, it will gradually soften and conform to your body with repeated wear. Additionally, prolonged use will cause the color of the paraffin to shift, creating natural aging and a unique patina.
