What these two brands share is an eye for the irregular beauty born from taking the time and effort. It is craftsmanship that dwells not only in completed beauty but in the sensibility and warmth of the creator.
In this collaboration, the bear motif that symbolizes 〈PINK HOUSE〉 takes on a new expression within the products of 〈Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO〉.
An adorable presence and an inventive form. It projects the aesthetic sense of both brands, born from the resonance of differing personalities.
The result is a cable-knit cardigan that welcomes the 〈PINK HOUSE〉 bear onto the distressed knit style that 〈Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO〉 excels at.
We knitted light, soft, thick-count yarn in a low gauge to express the cable pattern with a rich, three-dimensional effect.
The cuffs and hem feature iconic distressing.
The bear, which would usually peek out from a pocket at 〈PINK HOUSE〉, has moved into the gaps of the cables for this collaboration.
The way it pops out from the right neckline is a subtle inconsistency that only the wearer will notice.
By knitting the bear with the same yarn as the base, it becomes part of the knit rather than a mere decoration, allowing its charm to blend in quietly.
A new look born from the encounter of two brands. That very inconsistency serves as the outline of this collection.
