This shirt is made from soft cotton flannel and features a unique wax-resist dye (roketsu-zome) applied by Kyoto artisans, one piece at a time. The dyeing process, which uses wax, creates irregular intersecting lines and crack-like textures. The distinct "fading" and "blurring" effects, impossible to achieve with regular printing, give the shirt the presence of an art piece. It features large flap pockets on the front. With a moderately relaxed silhouette, it can be worn as a shirt or a light outer layer. Each piece is uniquely dyed by hand, ensuring that no two shirts have the exact same pattern, making it a truly special item.
