A men's "Bomber" in "Root Brown Wax Dipped Cupro." Made with a Japanese cupro shell treated with wax dipping and paraffin coating, it features a crisp texture and water-repellent properties. It is reversible, with the reverse side showcasing a two-tone, lustrous twill fabric. The piece is insulated with felt-like padding throughout.
The silhouette combines set-in shoulders that follow the natural line of the body with generous sleeves; the front is cut longer, with a hem that rises toward the back. Inspired by vintage flight jackets, it features original Merino wool ribbing and circular-knit cuffs.
The front closure uses a two-way zipper equipped with wide tape and a shell fabric tab. It includes snap-button front pockets and a sleeve pocket.
The fabric of this product undergoes a specialized process that applies a paraffin coating to lightweight cupro. This results in a material with firmness, durability, and water resistance. The unique, chalky appearance created by this treatment changes every time the fabric is creased or wrinkled, ensuring every piece has a one-of-a-kind texture.
While initially firm, the fabric will gradually soften and conform to your body with wear. Long-term use will also cause the color of the paraffin to shift, creating natural aging and a unique patina.
