THE JEAN JACKET is TANAKA's signature denim jacket, made from sustainable selvedge denim manufactured by Kaihara Co. Ltd.
The carefully woven selvedge denim includes recycled cotton in the weft, becoming softer and more conforming to the skin with wear.
The jacket design has been further updated to a modern style, with clean-finished waist details giving the JEAN JACKET a sleek impression.
Pockets are placed on the sides, and the back and sleeves are three-dimensionally shaped to fit the body.
The action pleats on the placket and the use of rivets, paying homage to vintage styles, also serve as design accents.
Its slightly relaxed, boxy silhouette makes it suitable for all genders.
