A capsule collection featuring 11 T-shirts with designs based on the LaserDisc (LD) jackets released at the time of the original "Neon Genesis Evangelion" broadcast is now available!
This series incorporates the jacket designs of 11 LaserDiscs: 10 from volume 1 [Genesis:01] to volume 10 [Genesis:10], which contained the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" anime series, and one from the final volume [Genesis:14].
Each jacket features pilots such as Shinji, Rei, and Asuka, and NERV personnel such as Gendo and Misato, drawn in the style of the time, creating illustrations that immerse you in the world of the TV series.
Additionally, the beautifully laid out typography in the Matisse font, a synonym for Evangelion, completes the jacket design.
EVANGELION:95 has adapted these LD jacket designs into vintage T-shirts that retain the atmosphere and charm of the illustrations from that era. With the white body T-shirt as a canvas, the color arrangements match the featured characters. Only the [Genesis:14] illustration, featuring all the characters from the final volume, has a black body.
The back features the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" title logo. The sleeve is printed with the EVANGELION:95 icon "95".
Made from 100% cotton, this 6.5oz heavy-weight fabric is smooth to the touch, durable, and highly absorbent.
This product was designed to evoke the T-shirts that would have been available in 1995, the year of its original broadcast.
The aged appearance, such as the fading of the body itself that usually only occurs after many years of wear, enhances the appeal of the graphics, making this a standout piece for any outfit.
