SAINT Mxxxxxx_BerBerJin
We will release a denim set-up in collaboration with ©SAINT Mxxxxxx and BerBerJin on March 20 (Fri., public holiday). This collection is a special lineup that started with fabric development, creating a new denim fabric from scratch that meets the quality standards of both parties, a fabric that is synonymous with BerBerJin director Yutaka Fujiwara. Both the jacket and pants are based on the "war model," which is popular in the vintage market. The denim jacket incorporates the rare T-back specification, which is found in first-type jackets, and is reconstructed with a contemporary silhouette unique to ©SAINT Mxxxxxx, while respecting the original balance. The denim pants feature a straight silhouette. In addition to the rivets and buttons, the herringbone fabric used for the pocket lining was also custom-made based on the specifications from the war period, carefully reproducing the details of that era. The fabric used is rigid denim. The texture changes with wear and washing, making it a piece that grows on you over time. This product is a fusion of deep knowledge of vintage items and modern interpretation, creating something unique to both brands.
