A slim-cut tailored coat with a collapsible funnel neck constructed from a deadstock wool blend. The tailored silhouette follows the body lines closely through the chest and waist, tapering through the torso while allowing sufficient room for layering and movement. Back vents are positioned higher on the coat body than conventional placement, beginning at the upper hip rather than at the lower hip. This elevated split point prevents fabric tension when seated—the vents open to accommodate a seated position without pulling the coat body upward. Silk-covered snap buttons secure the vent closure, providing a smooth surface finish that reduces friction. Constructed from wool woven with asymmetric yarn weights: heavier warp threads interlace with finer weft threads to create a pronounced twill diagonal. The high-density weave produces a compact, durable cloth with dimensional texture.
