New "Tabi" ballerina flats by Maison Margiela. They follow the design of archived ballerina shoes. Crafted from soft nappa leather, hand-distressed pleats, sole, and seams create a vintage feel through artisanal craftsmanship. Inspired by traditional 15th-century Japanese socks, the split-toe "Tabi" was introduced in the Maison's debut collection in 1989. It expresses the Maison's avant-garde and rebellious spirit and continues to be explored in every collection as an enduring classic design.
