A blouson inspired by 1970s flight jackets. It uses Sumi-dyed linen washer blend, a traditional Japanese sumi (ink) dyeing technique, creating delicate color gradations and an organically uneven texture. The fabric softens and becomes more supple with wear, and due to differences in dye absorption and fiber structure, each garment offers a unique color expression.
It features a three-dimensional pocket design constructed with panel changes and precisely placed seams. Rather than being attached as an afterthought, the pockets are built three-dimensionally outward from the body using curved pattern pieces. They are designed to have a balloon-like volume while naturally integrating into the overall structure of the garment. This construction allows the blouson to move naturally with the body, while maintaining the pocket's shape and storage capacity.
It features two expandable RiRi zippers on each sleeve, plus one on the chest pocket.
