This denim jacket is based on a design from 1941-1942. The silhouette features dropped shoulders, wide sleeves, and a straight, un-waisted body. It incorporates a T-BACK* detail. The stitching and details, such as stitch type and direction, are based on the original design but with added modern durability. The length, armholes, and other aspects of the silhouette have also been subtly adjusted for a modern fit. This is designated as New Manual #001. *T-BACK refers to the design where the back panel is split in a T-shape. Originally, the back panel was made from a single piece of fabric; however, to accommodate larger sizes, two pieces of fabric are joined at the center back.
